100% pure silk lightweight habotai ribbon

Honey is a rich and inviting hue. It has a soft depth with just a hint of orange within the yellow. The colour is intense without being bright and reminds us of a jar of pooh’s honey.

Our lightweight silk habotai has a light, floaty feel and a soft lustre finish.

The ribbons are cut on the bias, which offers a luxurious drape, and a superior, elegant aesthetic.

We dye our ribbons always by hand using ONLY pure plant based ingredients, without the use of chemicals.

The ribbons come in lengths of approx 2.2m or 1m, ideal lengths for tying a bouquet and the ribbon is wound on an European oak dowel. One metre lengths are wound onto a card.

Please note that each batch is very small and unique so colours may vary from batch to batch. Some colours will be one off due to the seasonal plant ingredients used. Please ensure you purchase sufficient ribbon for your needs, as the colours available will evolve all the time.

There may be very slight marbling or marking along the ribbons. This is due to the hand dyeing process and we believe, is part of their unique charm.

Every care has been taken photograph the colour as accurately as possible in only natural light, however there may be variance with screen monitors. Silk refracts the light and plant dyes contain complex pigments which are hard to capture on screen. Please view all images to capture the different aspects.
